There is no getting away from the fact that 2021 has been another difficult year for aviation. But it is usually inspiring to see how the industry has come together to support all of those who are struggling and immensely proud of the part the osprey team has played in this.
Maintaining our breakthrough Osprey:Open platform and providing it for free to anyone is a notable example of this, as is the support that we provided, again completely free of charge, to any operator involved in the evacuation from Afghanistan, a situation that affected me personally and was very close to my heart, it was a great privilege to be able to provide this this support.
But now is a time to look forward, to get excited and inspired about what is to come.
Our recent growth has been nothing short of explosive – we now have over 40 team members in analytical, technical and client-facing roles, based all over the world, including the UK, Washington and Dubai. Continuing this growth and with a laser focus on our technology we are set to deliver the greatest leaps forward in aviation risk management that we have ever achieved.
A dramatic increase in the application of advanced AI techniques in our platform alongside a transformational analytical framework is just around the corner and will change the conversation around risk management.
More importantly that this, we, as an organisation and as a team, recognise our responsibilities to give back to the communities that support us and to run a sustainable and ethical business, I’m very excited to be involved in this and continuing this work as we move for the next couple of years.
So, it just leaves me to say a huge thank you to our clients, for your support, your engagement and your feedback. To our partners for your collegiate and innovative thinking and from me to the entire osprey team for your hard work, your dedication, your innovation and your commitment to always delivering the absolute best. It is an inspiration, a privilege and most importantly a great joy to work with every single one of you.
So, a very Merry Christmas to everyone with the very best wishes for 2022.
Stay safe, stay well and stay happy.
Andrew
